It all kinda started in 2020.  When I bought my first camera, a Canon EOS 70D.  Purely because I wanted to do Youtube and there were a couple of successful creators that used it,  namely Casey Neistat and Chris Broad (Abroad in Japan).

In addition, when alot younger and still a child, i'd had a camera for christmas and just loved using it, i'd take it to family parties and holidays and always wanted to take a picture, unfortunately I no longer have them photos, but remember loving it. The sound of the winding of the film, the click of the shutter, it just made me smile.

Then in 2020, after years with no camera, off I went, trying and failing to be a success at youtube, and then trying my hand at using the camera for photography instead, and enjoying it a lot more.
